Furlonger are delighted to offer a fresh addition to the Jaguar XJ220 market, with this UK supplied right-hand drive example finished in the unmistakable combination of a Spa Silver exterior over a Charcoal interior. Delivered new in 1992 to Sir John Madejski, this XJ220 remained in his personal collection for 18 years before being sold to its second custodian who owned the car until 2019.
A Furlonger client purchased this XJ220 in 2019 and entrusted our workshop team to conduct a comprehensive inspection and service. On completion of the inspection, we were instructed by the owner to prepare the car to the highest standard, sparing no expense in the process. We removed the engine and gearbox assembly, removed cam covers and cam shafts, fitted new gaskets and seals, conducted a major service, replaced the cambelt, replaced clutch assembly, replaced the battery, fitted four new tyres and had PPF fitted to the XJ220’s front end. The car has since been used sparingly but has remained in a meticulously monitored storage environment to ensure its preservation.
This remarkably special XJ220 is presented in excellent condition throughout, which is a testament to the car’s consistent maintenance and low mileage of just 2,100. Accompanied by a traceable history from new, all original books and numerous pieces of documentation, this XJ220 poses an enticing prospect for those seeking a highly collectible 90s supercar with exceptionally low mileage, suitable for the very finest of collections.
