Sales, trackside assistance, maintenance and preparation

Our passion and enthusiasm are reflected throughout every channel of our business here at Furlonger, whether it sales, restoration or collection management. However, we are delighted to push the boundaries of our services even further with the addition of our Department Historic F1.

Several years ago we were involved in the sale of Alain Prost’s Ferrari 642 F1 car and have since worked to gain a foothold in the historic F1 market. We have since acquired several F1 cars, including the ex-Nigel Mansel Ferrari 639 and ex-Gerhard Berger Ferrari 640. In 2024 we reunited Gerhard Berger with his Ferrari 640 at the Goodwood 81st Member’s Meet, where we provided trackside support, as he drove the car for the first time since 1989. We have also run the Ferrari 639 at Supercar Driver’s Secret Meet, piloted by Harrison Newey at Silverstone Circuit, and a BRM BP180 at Goodwood Festival Of Speed ’24. We are currently preparing another iconic V12 Formula 1 car and plan to run this at numerous upcoming events.

Our diverse and skilled team of technicians have built up extensive experience in all aspects of running historic F1 cars, which allows us to complete the vast majority of preparation works in-house. We have now comprehensively prepared 4 historic F1 cars in our workshop, all of which have been driven at various circuits.

Whether you require trackside assistance, maintenance and preparation, or wish to buy or sell an F1 car, please contact us for further information.
