This Ferrari 348 Spider was delivered new via Maranello Concessionaires of Egham, Surrey on 01/10/93 to a Mr George Woo of London, finished in Nero over a Nero leather interior – the same specification it wears today.
This Ferrari 348 Spider is accompanied a scrupulously assorted history file dating back as early as October 1988 when Mr Woo initially enquired about a 328. He was informed that the factory would no longer produce the 328 and subsequently sent a price list for the all-new 348, evident from multiple letters of correspondence made between himself and Maranello Concessionaires. The first letter from Maranello Concessionaires confirms Mr Woo’s deposit of £5,000, followed by further correspondence, a final order form and invoice confirming the 348 Spider’s specification which included a sports exhaust priced at £925.00.
This highly original example is presented in excellent condition throughout and retains a fastidiously assorted history including the original bill of sale. The 348 has been comprehensively maintained by Furlonger in recent years and has just been serviced with a clean bill of health by our technicians.
The 348 Spider is a remarkably rare car, with just 68 supplied to the U.K. market in right-hand drive. One of a handful optioned in Nero and showing a mileage of just 7,700, this car would make a suitable addition to the finest of collections. The 348 is an enticing prospect for those wish to experience a profoundly underrated supercar with a manual transmission, and we believe this is one of the best in existence.
This car retains its original Schedoni leather document wallet, handbooks and both keys.
