The Aston Martin DB7 debuted at the Geneva Motorshow in March of 1993 and ran production until 2004 before being succeeded by the DB9. The DB7 was initially offered with a 6-cylinder engine (what some would describe as an entry level model) and later a 12 Cylinder ‘Vantage’ version which began production in 1999. The DB7 Vantage coupe and Volante were offered in 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic and now featured a 6.0 Litre engine which produced 414 horsepower and could achieve 60mph in 5.1 seconds!
The superb car offered here today was ordered new by Mr Richard Sowerby (Founding director of Gala Bingo) and delivered via Aston Martin HWM Limited on July 26th 2008. This special order example is finished in Ferrari ‘Nero Daytona’ with charcoal leather interior, the rare option of carbon fibre interior veneers and personalised sill Plaques. The car also features powerfold exterior mirrors, aluminium foot pedal pads, uprated brake package, embroidered over mats, heated front screen, large bore tail pipes, satellite navigation, touchtronic, grey alcantara headlining, fully electric heated seats, black brake callipers, black roof hood and highly desirable 18.5’’ GT alloy wheels finished in Silver.
