Furlonger are pleased to offer this exceptionally well-presented Land Rover Range Rover Suffix-B with a mere 15,501 miles finished in the highly desirable shade of Lincoln Green over a Biege interior. This example was delivered new via British Leyland Concessionaire Walder & MacCreadie LTD in February 1973 to a Mr Swaisland of Maidstone, Kent. As per its original Rover Passport (service handbook) the Range Rover received its first PDI on 14/02/1973 at 36 miles, and its first service just a year later at 1,642 miles.

As confirmed by the car’s British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate, chassis no. 355-05347-B was originally configured in Davos White. In 2011 the vehicle’s owner decided to colour change the vehicle to Lincoln Green, a shade widely regarded by enthusiasts as the best suited to this generation of Range Rover.

Changing hands between likeminded keepers throughout its life, this Range Rover has been used sparingly and maintained to the highest standards, with recent restorative works conducted to its cosmetics and mechanical components. The car’s 3.5L V8 engine was comprehensively reconditioned via marque specialists Churchill 4×4 LTD in 2020 at 14,860 miles. Today, the car’s astounding condition both cosmetically and mechanically give the impression of a Range Rover that has just left the factory; a testament to the careful ownership and expense that the car has received.
