Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 1994, the Ferrari F355 marked the return of a beautiful Ferrari after what some would call the brutally designed 80’s cars. The F355 was an evolution of the 348 that was not only prettier but had superb drivability, improved performance and reliability. Apart from a small increase in engine displacement from 3.4L to 3.5L, the 355 saw the introduction of 5 valves per cylinder. This new head design allowed for better intake permeability and resulted in an engine that was considerably more powerful, now producing 375 horsepower. The car was first available in manual transmission and followed with an F1 paddle operated system in 1997.
This Ferrari F355 GTB was imported via Maranello Concessionaires LTD and delivered by Stratstone (Wilmslow) LTD in April 1998, equipped with an F1 transmission and optioned with an Argento Nürburgring exterior over a Nero and Blu Scuro interior.
This F355 is accompanied by a full-service history undertaken by main dealers and specialists, evident from the original stamped service book and numerous invoices present with the car’s history file.
This F355 is a well-presented example of the marque’s most distinctive V8 mid-engine modern classic, finished in an unusual and desirable colour combination. The F355 has just undergone a major engine-out service, cambelt change, clutch replacement, F1 actuator and AC overhaul as well as numerous other works, totaling over £8,000.
This example is accompanied by its original Schedoni document wallet, service book, handbooks, manuals and numerous invoices and receipts.
