The Porsche 918 Spyder sits at the very heart of the ‘Holy Trinity’ of supercars along with the Ferrari LaFerrari and McLaren P1 as cars that define the ultimate expression of a road car in the last decade. The 918 Spyder’s powerplant is a motorsport derived naturally aspirated 4.6 litre V8 that produces an impressive 600 bhp which is then coupled to twin electric motors that deliver an additional 282 bhp. The result of this partnership is an astonishing 882 bhp powering both axels, making it one of the fastest road cars available to this day.

The combination of fully electric and hybrid driving modes, an easily removable hardtop and Porsche’s bulletproof 7-speed PDK transmission gives the 918 Spyder a clear advantage over the McLaren and Ferrari.
