Supplied by Furlonger to its most recent custodian in 2020, both our sales and workshop team are very well acquainted with this wonderfully presented 308 GTB. Chassis no. 31321 was ordered new via Maranello Concessionaires in January 1980, optioned in Rosso Chiaro over a Beige hide interior, the same specification it still wears today. This 308 GTB retains some highly desirable factory options including; air conditioning, deep front spoiler, rear aerofoil delete, Alpine 7273L radio, 16’’ Speedline wheels with matching spare, original Ferrari book pack, service book, sales and service organization book, owners instruction book, A3 sales brochure, toolkit bag with jack and tools, inspection lamp with pouch, spare bulb kit drum, all original keys, manual window winder and rear fog lights. The car also retains its original Momo steering wheel and even the distributor cover in the engine bay – both features which are often missing.
Accompanying the car’s desirable factory options is its superb condition throughout and scrupulously documented service history, which has been meticulously filed into two separate folders. These folders possess servicing invoices which date back to when the car was first delivered, including dozens of MOT certificates, tax discs and even its original order invoice. The car benefits from a comprehensive service history, being regularly maintained by marque specialists throughout its lifetime.
Just 211 steel bodied GTBs were delivered to the U.K. with carburettor specification, of which a handful remain untouched and unmodified with genuine factory supplied options, making this example an enticing prospect for a true 308 enthusiast.
