Ferrari 512 TR

Furlonger are delighted to offer a fresh addition to the Ferrari 512 TR market, with this example finished in the highly desirable shade of Nero Carbonio Metallic over a Grigio and Nero upholstered interior. Chassis no. 95140 was ordered new via Hong Seh Motors PTE Limited and delivered to its first custodian in South Africa in October 1992. The 512 TR remained in South Africa for a short period before being sold and exported to Brunei, where it was used sparingly, accumulating just 3,276 km by 2002.

In October 2002, this Ferrari 512 TR was imported to the U.K. via Talacrest LTD and supplied to its first British custodian, a Mr. R. Clarke of London. During the sale process, a new service book and MPH Speedometer were ordered for the car while it was being prepared mechanically in Talacrest’s workshop. The speedometer was changed at 3,276 km (2,047 miles) – recorded in the car’s service book.

In May 2003, this 512 TR was sold via Talacrest a second time to a Mr. P. Baugh who resided in Edinburgh, by which point the car had covered a further 3,075 miles making the total mileage 5,122. Mr. Baugh used the 512 TR sparingly before placing it in long-term storage in 2008, where it remained unused for 8 years. In 2016, the car was sent to a marque specialist in Scotland and comprehensively overhauled with no-expense-spared. Shortly after the completion of the works, the car was sold to its current custodian, a prominent collector and long-standing Furlonger client who has retained ownership to the present day.

This Ferrari 512 TR is a beautifully preserved and well-presented example finished in a remarkably rare colour combination, with just 8,700 miles from new. The 512 TR is widely regarded as the pinnacle of the Testarossa guise, offering a truly exciting and engaging driving experience.
