The F12 Berlinetta made its debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show and succeeding the 599 GTB became the most powerful production Ferrari to date. Naturally, the F12 eclipses the 599 in all regards by adopting an entirely new engine, transmission and an array of technological upgrades that accompany a newly penned profile. Unlike its predecessors, the F12 dimensions have been reduced rather than increased, with a shorter and narrower body that also sits lower to the ground, achieving a lower center of gravity. The F12’s packaging has been carefully developed to improve weight distribution, weight saving and overall stiffness, standing in at 70kg less than the 599 GTB and making a 20% gain in torsional rigidity.
