This Ferrari F355 Challenge was delivered new to Australia in 1997 and subsequently shipped to and registered in the U.K. in 1999 by Robin Mortimer, where it was purchased by a Mr. A. Davies of Wirral. Mr. Davies, a racing instructor, used the car regularly taking it to and from race circuits where he would conduct training sessions with other drivers. The car accumulated circa 23,000 miles during his ownership which ended in 2010. The Challenge passed through the hands of other enthusiasts before being purchased by Furlonger in 2017.
After conducting an inspection in our workshop, this F355 Challenge was subject to a comprehensive major service, cambelt replacement and other works totaling just over £9,000. In May 2017, the F355 Challenge was sold to the current custodian and prepared for his ownership. During the preparation process Furlonger workshop made some minor adjustments as per the client’s request, including paintwork where required to cosmetically refresh the car’s appearance.
Since purchasing this example the owner has used the car sparingly, but has ensured it remain carefully maintained via a Ferrari main dealer, with the last service being completed in March 2022.
This F355 Challenge presents an exciting opportunity to own one of Ferrari’s most distinguished Challenge series cars, with road registration and presented in good order throughout with an excellent maintenance history.
