The BMW Z8 was launched in 2000, but was initially designed as a styling exercise to evoke and celebrate the BMW 507, built between 1956-1959. The Z8 is an elegant, distinctive roadster with a manual gearbox coupled with a tremendous 4.9 litre V8 engine that produces 395 horsepower.
