Succeeding the already mighty F12 Berlinetta, the 812 Superfast marks the start of Ferraris current beastly front engine V12 model range. Maintaining the distinctive coupe profile since the launch of the well-received 550 Maranello, the Superfast has achieved the same result as all of its predecessors with reviews from journalists and owners around the world celebrating its success.
The 812 Superfast’s power plant is now a 6.5 Litre engine, an evolution of the previous 6.3 Litre found in the F12 that now produces a whopping 789 horsepower and features multiple improvements for maximum power output and optimum efficiency. Coupled with the astonishing F1 DCT gearbox which has now had sharpened shift times (both up and down gears) makes the Superfast certainly live up to its formidable name.
The 812’s muscular design incorporates over a dozen newly devised aerodynamic panels which greatly aid the cars stability dependant on driving situation. Scoops, vents and active panels channel air throughout and around the car seamlessly to provide superbly efficient aero and unquestionable drivability. Like the F12 TDF, the Superfast also features 4-wheel steer, offering remarkable handling and agility to give you the impression of manoeuvring a car with a much shorter wheelbase. Among these changes you are greeted with a spacious hyper modern cabin, extremely simple yet beautifully laid out controls and an impressive steering wheel which conveniently holds all the necessary controls.
