Now available is this McLaren MP4-12C finished in Fire Black (Exterior Elite Paint) with Carbon Black Leather sport interior.
The MP4-12C, now more formally known as the 12C was the first production car built by McLaren since the F1 in the late 90’s. The 12C uses a carbon fibre composite chassis and features a 3.8 litre twin turbo engine which prodcuces just shy of 600 horsepower. Alongside various other beneficial lightweight applications, the car incorporates a system called ”brake steer” derived from Formula 1. This is where the inside rear wheel is braked during fast cornering to reduce understeer and allow the car to cling tigther to the apex. Power is transmitted to the wheels through a seven-speed dual clutch transmission with incredible shift times.
The cars factory options include full leather interior, manually adjustable seats, Stone Grey contrast stitching, Meridian surround sound system and the latest IRIS software update. Special options include MSO full carbon fibre rear wing and MSO carbon fibre rear diffuser.
This lovely example is well known to Furlonger as it has been recently serviced within our workshops and comes with a full service history, all of which has taken palce at McLaren main dealers until it was last serviced by ourselves.
