Genuine GT40P chassis and Superformance body. Built by Olthoff Racing with 289 FIA specification engine by Pathfinder of Florida. Confirmed 65 block (C5)by Mathwell Engineering.
While developing the GT40 continuation, Superformance went to great lengths to ensure absolute authenticity. So authentic that over two thirds of the rolling chassis parts are interchangeable with that of an original car.
This car built by Olttoff racing is as new condition having recently been completed. Bob Olttoff was a South African driver who raced in the Le Mans 24 Hours, Goodwood and many other circuits in his racing career with over 140 victories. His company is still a family run business specialising in GT40’s and Cobras.
The engine in #2294 is a Ford 1965 C5 Code 289 FIA race motor with original 1965 289 Ford cast iron heads; Wiseco pistons, Crower Competition con rods and forged steel crank. It has 4/48 IDA Webers and a period correct intake Weber manifold.
