Now available is this wonderful Ferrari F355 Spider, finished in Rosso Corsa with Tan leather interior. The car was delivered new on 01/01/1998 by MHT Ferrari to Mr Borges of Hampshire.
Among the many changes made to the 355 over the 348 was the introduction of a 5 valve cylinder head. This new design allowed for better intake permeability and resulted in an engine which was more powerful than its predecessor. The 355 Spider debuted in 1995, its Pininfarina styling honed by 1,800 hours in the wind tunnel, resulted in a blend of elegant style and aerodynamic performance. For the first time on a Ferrari the semi-automatic soft top was powered electronically. Initially, the Spider was offered with the F1 transmission available as an option. The Spider proved to be the second most popular F355 model, with a total production of 3,843 units, of which just over 2,000 were produced with the 6-speed manual transmission and approximately 1,000 were produced with the F1 transmission. Said to be one of the best looking Ferrari’s ever produced, the 355 boasts an iconic 90’s design which still to this day is incredibly popular.
This example is presented in lovely condition throughout and features what is arguably one of the best colour combinations of Rosso Corsa with Tan leather interior. The car is well known to Furlonger and features a well-documented service history which comprises of main dealer and specialist maintenance. With the car are both original keys including the red fob, original leather wallet with factory books and folder which contains various invoices and MOT's. The 355 Spider has now covered just over 29,000 miles and is ready for its new owner.
